It’s been quite a journey since deciding to have a go at publishing a children’s book series all those years ago. With this blog, we will be going into a lot more detail about our past and present experiences in writing, illustrating and producing this series.
Over the last few years, we’ve had to take crash courses in Amazon’s KDP publishing software, digital media, WordPress and countless other publishing and social media platforms.
We’ve just developed the new Kiddies’ Corner area of our website that allows children to have fun whilst learning about the characters and the insects that they represent. We’re finally able to introduce our first few characters, so here they all are, settled nicely in Vegetable Row in the wonderful land of Flower Town. There’s Sally Snail, Stevie Slug, Sammie and Sophie Spider, Dr. Wallace Woodlouse and the Grub Twins, and lots more interesting insects to come, all with their daily life of adventure, drama and excitement.
We are about to publish the first four stories in the series. We are developing another four and will update you along the way.
In the meantime, this little post is just to thank those who have already subscribed to our little mailing list and to everyone else for their support and encouragement!
